DSGIS (DS Geographical Information System) is a project making GPS
function available on DS console. Now, all of the team members are making
their best to accomplish most of the functions which have existed in the
traditional GPS equipments.
For the moment, we entitle Ranger as the code name of the first
development project.
So far, numbers of flashcards have been proven to be available when they
are working together with Ranger, such as AK2(whith out FAT) EZ5 M3DSR
M3SD(with out Real GPS) R4 SCDS. And, there are much more proof-tests on
the way now.

As we known, GPS device can never
work without hardware, especially antenna.
Although the final Hardware
specifications are still in the discussion, we are planning to offer two
versions of our product 1st for Including Active Antenna Only; 2nd for
Including Both Built-in Passive Antenna and Exterior Active Antenna.
Further more, there is an
introduction on Map-making and Skin Customization.
In order to confirm your flashcard is compatible with our
Caelits Application, please try testing software first. If you fail to
pass the testing, please post the brand of your flashcard and expansion
card here. We will try to find corresponding I/O interface and make a
revision of Caelits Application. Moreover, we greatly appreciate your
cooperation with us if you could modify source code by yourselves and
public it here on our forum.

July 27 2008 DSGIS Project Videos
Recently, our team are focusing on the improvement on DSGIS Project, and
we've decided to name the Hardware as “Ranger”, and to name the Software
as “Caelitis”.
Moreover, after working out the first version of DSGIS Project Sample,
we’ve received a lot of emails and concerns from different friends all
over the world. In order to help you better understand how
“Ranger”&”Caelitis” work, we made some videos about our project,

15 2008 Fisrt Completed GPS PCB of Ranger Project
Good news, the M3 team contacts us and promise to help us in hardware
development. As a result, our Ranger's hardware will finish in July. What
is more, the new hardware still support other's FlashCart, for M3DS real
users there're more extra functions!
For this new software, we renamed Ranger(0.6 with PAlib) to Caelitis(0.1
without PAlib), and we are working on Ranger's update and Caelitis' at
the same time. In feature, Ranger's source code will completely for free.

We have make most of GPSFS fomat maps, which work in "MapThis"
on PSP, compatible with our application. That is to say, there is no need
for us to worry about maps.
Besides, the application now runs on a much more stable and quick state
after rewriting some codes. Due to some inspiration from Moonshell, we
are trying some new ideas. For example, Multi-windows system which makes
the application really cool, plug-ins skins and transparent windows.
"Back to Menu" Function is another update. By using it, you can
easily back to menu and run any other application without turn off the DS
Lite.
At last, our coders are also working on the corresponding input methods
for Asian users.
